Supplier bills you can check line by line
Open a supplier and you see the month grouped by client, the way their own statement usually reads: each trip, its kilometres, the package it was priced on and the amount. Own-fleet trips never appear, because you don't pay yourself. Record part-payments as you make them.
Whether a toll or parking charge is paid back to the supplier is decided trip by trip, because it isn't the same with every supplier. Night halt and driver allowance carry their own driver amounts.
Salaries, allowances and advances
Staff Payments lists everyone for the month. Pay a salary with allowances, note the reference, and recover part of an outstanding advance in the same payment. A payment made by mistake can be removed.
Expenses booked to the car
Log fuel, servicing, tyres, tolls and office costs with the date, amount, who paid and how. Book vehicle expenses against the vehicle, so you can see what each car costs to run. If a contract bills fuel at actuals, the fuel you log against that car goes on the client's invoice.
Supplier & staff payments: common questions
How does Levart calculate what I owe a supplier?
From the trips their vehicles ran for you that month: on-call trips at the supplier's package rate, substitute vehicles they provided, and contract vehicles they own, plus any tolls, parking or allowances you marked to pay back.
Can I recover a driver's advance from their salary?
Yes. When you pay a staff member in Staff Payments you can recover part or all of an outstanding advance in the same payment.
