The packages agencies actually sell
Local 8 hours / 80 km. Airport transfer at a flat fare. Outstation at 300 km a day. A dedicated car at 3,000 km a month. Each is a package with a base rate, what's included, and the extra rates. Fixed-amount packages can still charge extra kilometres over their allowance.
Client prices and supplier costs
Agree a special rate with one client? Make a package just for them; it only appears when that client is selected. Suppliers have packages too, and those are what you pay them, so the gap between the client's package and the supplier's is your margin on every trip.
Packages & rate cards: common questions
What is an 8 hours / 80 km package?
A local package where the base fare covers up to 8 hours and 80 kilometres. Anything beyond is charged per extra hour and per extra kilometre at the package's rates.
Can I give one client a different rate?
Yes. Create a package for that client. It's offered only on that client's trips and contracts.
